Honest, accurate information about sexuality changes lives. It dismantles stereotypes and assumptions, builds self-acceptance and self-esteem, fosters healthy relationships, improves decision making, and has the potential to save lives. For these reasons and more, we are proud to offer Our Whole Lives here at UUCE.

Our Whole Lives (OWL) models caring, compassion, respect and justice in all of our relationships. OWL addresses topics typically excluded from sexuality education and health classes, including sexual expression, identity, orientation, and life issues for all ages.

I found an inclusive and welcoming community in my OWL group – it was a space where I felt comfortable talking about questions I had! I highly recommend the OWL program as an educational and community building experience that can really help youth understand their sexuality.”   – Sophia Warner, 8-9th OWL graduate

Copies of the Our Whole Lives curricula can be found in the Faith Formation office. Parents are welcome to look through it at any time.
