Special Children’s  Shopping on Friday

UUCE children and grandchildren of members are invited to be the first to shop our Children’s Shopping at the ReGifting Shoppe Friday 12/6 from 4:00-7:00. Adults will be present so they can shop in private and wrap gifts for their loved ones. Please send a list of people to shop for, along with a budget for each of them.

Create your own touch of holiday cheer with fresh greens, ribbons, and trimmings galore in our Wreath Nook where the scent is heavenly! Our volunteers are on hand to help you craft a beautiful wreath to take home or give as a gift.

Follow the scent of sugar and spice to the Bake Shoppe, where homemade goodies entice with a touch of winter magic. From buttery cookies and spiced loaves to decadent cakes and hot beverages, every treat is crafted with love by UUCE’s finest home bakers. Perfect for gifting or “sampling” on the way home.

Warm up at the Soup’s On! Café, where homemade seasonal soups and fresh-baked bread are served from 11 a.m. until the pots run dry! Pull up a chair and savor the simple comfort of good food made with care.

A hands-on space just for kids! Young artists can dive into simple, fun crafts and even create their own take-home keepsake while parents browse and enjoy the wUUnderland.

Enjoy live performances from local musicians throughout the day, adding to the festive atmosphere as you browse, dine, and celebrate the season.

It’s not too soon to start scouring your house for items to donate to the Winter WUUnderland ReGift Shoppe.  Some items that sold well last year:

  • Toys and stuffed animals
  • Kitchenware and small appliances
  • Jewelry
  • Souvenirs and tzatzikis
  • Pet toys and accessories
  • Camping gear
  • Art and wall decor

All items should be ‘nearly new’ or ‘gently used’.   This is a NO CLOTHING event.

We are not accepting items that might be more appropriate for a garage sale, such as opened bottles of fingernail polish, items in need of repair, etc. No televisions or large appliances.

We will also accept wrapping supplies (gift wrap, bows, bags, etc) to use for the children’s shopping Friday evening.

If you love it, but it’s ready for a new home, then it’s a prime candidate for the ReGift Shoppe.
