Immigration Justice Action Group

IJAG views engagement with immigrant and refugee communities as one way of addressing race-based disparities and promoting a culture of equity that values the inherent worth and dignity of all people. To pursue justice for immigrants and refugees, we educate ourselves and others, work for public policy, speak publicly, and provide practical assistance in support of immigrants and refugees.

We meet the first Sunday of the month from 11:30-1, both in person and on Zoom. For more information, please contact immigrationjustice@uueugene.org.

We work with these and other organizations to achieve immigration justice:
  • Oregon for All: a broad statewide coalition working to protect immigrants, farmworkers, and refugees
  • United for Immigrant Justice: a Lane County based coalition Interfaith Alliance with Migrants, a coalition of churches and religious groups in Lane County
