Mindfulness Meditation with Jennifer Tucker
Wednesdays, 10:00-11:00AM, October 21 – December 9, 2020
Our minds are our most powerful tools. Mindfulness study enables us to direct these tools to enhance every facet of being human. Mindfulness meditation has been shown to help regulate blood pressure, relieve anxiety, improve sleep quality, and ease depression. The ability to focus the mind brings emotional benefits as well. Join us in this interactive, informative, and enjoyable 8 week study beginning Oct. 21 at 10 AM via Zoom.
$10 to $40 suggested one-time donation, as you are able. Payable via check, mailed to the church, made out to UUCE with Meditation in the memo line. All proceeds to UUCE.
Zoom information will be sent via email before the series begins.
Jennifer earned an MA in Human Development and taught middle school. She has taught meditation for over twenty years.
Yoga Basics with Diane Butera
Yoga Basics will help you find mobility, stability and peace of mind. Together we practice safe, accessible yoga to help you feel your best. This five week series is great for any level. Your instructor, Diane Butera, has over 2000 hours of instructing yoga.
Two series are available:
Tuesdays 9-10 am Pacific Time
Dates:Oct 6- Nov 3 (5 weeks)
Thursdays 5:30-6:30 pm Pacific Time
Dates: Oct 8- Nov 5 (5 weeks)
If you need to miss a class in the series, a recording can be sent to you.
