Communications Task Force

Dick Loescher, Chair 541-485-1157 (landline)

Mission Statement

The Communications Task Force (CTF) reviews and recommends policies and procedures and facilitates coordination related to communication methods within UUCE, as well as from UUCE to the wider community, in order to inform and connect us in support of implementing the UUCE Mission Statement: Empowered by love, we transform ourselves and serve our world.

History

With the approval of the Minister and the Board, the CTF was established in January 2013 as a subgroup of the Coordinating Council, which was subsequently disbanded in August 2014. The CTF has met periodically since it was established.

Current Activity

Church volunteers on the CTF work collaboratively with the Business Manager and office staff to produce and circulate the various communications methods, which currently include: the Sunday Handout, the Weekly eBulletin, the Weekly Meeting and Event Calendar, the monthly Connections newsletter, the website (including the web calendar), social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube), the church bulletin boards and signs, the listservs, the church directory, and various ways of publicizing UUCE matters to the wider community.

If you would like to learn more, and to volunteer to help with communications, please contact Dick Loescher, Communications Task Force Chair,  communications@50.207.8.14/~wordpress/wordpress/, 541-485-1157 (landline).
