Food for Thought Cafe

The Food for Thought Cafe will operate during the UUCE Book sale and will be offering coffee, tea, and a selection of home baked goods, including gluten free options. Let Diane know if you plan to donate food. booksale@uueugene.org
 
Food can be donated on
  • Friday, October 3 from 9:30am to 3pm or 
  • Saturday, October 4 from 9-10am.

We also really need a few people to sell goodies at the book sale. SIGN UP!

Book Sale

Call for donations! We’ll gratefully accept your gently used books, board games, video games and puzzles, plus CDs and DVDs. Bring these items to church on any of the following dates and someone will be present to collect them:

  • Thursday, October 2, until 7pm 
  • Friday, October 3, 9:30am-noon

Important Note regarding book donations: We are happy to accept books for children and adults in any categories except self help and text books (unfortunately they don’t sell). If you have a book that you particularly enjoyed, write a short recommendation note and tuck it inside the book so that it’s visible – these notes help sales!

Can’t make it to church to drop off your donations? Contact us and we’ll pick them up for you. 

Call for volunteers! We still need a few people to help with clean up, it would be great to have another person with a roomy vehicle to transport left over merchandise.
