The UUCE Statement of Affirmation of the Dignity of All People

The Unitarian Universalist Church in Eugene affirms the inherent worth and dignity of people of all races, ethnicities, genders, sexualities, dis/abilities, and backgrounds.

This congregation is committed to being a church where people with marginalized identities, particularly Black, Indigenous and other People of Color; transgender, non-binary, and LGBQI+ people; and disabled people, can bring their whole selves and experience full inclusion.

The ever-ongoing work of countering racism, transphobia, homophobia, ableism, and other oppressions in ourselves, our church community, and the wider community is an essential part of who we are as a people of a justice seeking faith.
