Earth Day Celebration Service!
On Sunday, April 23, we will celebrate our beautiful earth in a special folk music service. We invite you, the congregation, to offer your artistic gifts and join us in making a joyful noise! Musicians, poets, readers, and artists of all ilk are invited to contribute. Our intention is to create a Unitarian Universalist Folk Music Festival in honor of our beloved planet.
We are looking for earth-centered music during the service: soloists, trios, families, and any other combination. In addition, we are looking for readings, poems, responsive readings, and other earth-centered offerings. Visual artists may submit artwork to be projected during the service. If you would like to participate, a sign-up sheet is available at the tables in the hallway after service this week and next.
Important dates to note:
Sunday, March 26, after service: deadline to sign-up and initial consultation with Katy and Camille
Sunday, April 9, after service: Rehearsal
Sunday, April 23, 10am: Earth Day Service!
