UUCE-Share -- Sharing of Joys, Sorrows, Milestones and Dreams

About UUCE-Share
English (USA)

This is a venue for participants to share -- personally -- from the heart, about our lives and experiences. This is a community of support, kindness and respect.

This list is open to involved members and friends of our church community. Since we are sharing personally, we want it to be with those who are committed to being part of our congregation, a caring congregation.

UUCE-Share is the Sharing of Joys, Sorrows, Milestones, Dreams, travel stories.

It is suggested that messages be about experiences moving in our lives, hearts, and UUCE community. Non UUCE announcements, articles, forwards, and jokes go to UUCE-Chat. The list for Social Justice at UUCE -- SJUUCE covers political and justice topics.

Announcements regarding community caring concerns are welcome -- i.e. someone is sick or needs help with something. Share is a voluntary list for communication.

Sharing about life transitions, good or sad news (personal or family), trip reports encouraged. Here we can share produce, exchange items, services, request information and referrals. Humor and lightness welcome.

If discussing our church community:
--Keep the conversation to general positive problem solving and visions rather than personal venting.

Writing a draft and deciding later if you really want to send it is a good strategy for email communication, especially if you or the discussions are feeling edgy.

Also, consider responding privately if the response is just for one person or is of no interest to the group. "Me too" is an example.

Please, if the topic discussed at the time is a major issue that needs more airing, it should be discussed face to face, in person with the relevant parties. Sometimes email is a poor substitute for tone of voice to indicate additional layers of meaning and intent in a statement.

Our basic Netiquette page applies to all listservs. ***Note: Revisions are being considered, so you might want to look at it NOW. The current version is on our website at:
