This is the informal discussion list for Unitarian Universalists and friends in Lane County, Oregon. We also have a few subscribers from out of town who moved away but can't bear to leave the CHAT list, or who are planning to move to this area soon. Our purpose is sharing of opinions on just about any topic - think of it as a continuation of the coffee hour after Sunday services. In our discussions, we try to respect each other's belief in God, non-belief in a god, or uncertainty on the subject. The UU denomination itself promotes a thoughtful and respectful attitude about the multitude of religious and spiritual values, and paths in this world. To post a message to all the list members, send email to uuce-chat@uueugene.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to UUCE-Chat
Subscribe to UUCE-Chat by filling out the following form. This is a closed list, which means your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (required):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
