Perhaps this spring moment is encouraging us to strengthen our roots, and  nurture the sprouts of our emerging tender growth. Frederick Buechner’s thought shines like the sun:”Where our deep gladness and the world’s deep hunger meet, we hear a further call.”

Reflection: Breathing, imagine yourself at a crossroads. Linger there. Find a place to sit, and wait. Imagine the roads – one a path of your particular joy, the other a road of world need. Breathe.

This is part of a special spring series designed to invite us into Lectio Divina, meditation or inspiration. Between our UUCE celebrations of Easter and Earth Day, I offer you these words each day. – Rev. Sydney
